Hi — I'm Janessa,
This wedding business started as a side hustle after my own wedding and time as a bride. I was 24 and finally found my passion in life when I never really knew what the heck I wanted to do with it. This side hustle was a slow burn but once I hopped on the wedding train, I never got off. Would you believe me if I told you I planned and coordinated my own wedding on my own? After your hard work during the planning process, you deserve a day off — that's where I jump in!
As someone who likes to ease with caution, I slowly began adding to my weddings per year. I wanted to feel comfortable that I was expanding into my business as my knowledge kept up to speed. This only added to my confidence and skill set. I can truly say that wedding days have brought out the best version of me, a version I never knew existed, but I am the utmost proud of.
Eventually it was time to step down from my full time 9–5 and settle in to a part time position (besides weddings). Four years of slow and steady gave me the experience to make space to focus more on weddings — doing more of what I truly love!
But it's not just weddings that shaped who I am today; years of experience in fast paced, highly organized ‘regular jobs’ (with a sprinkle of Type A energy) taught me to end every day with the job done well and done on time. Being a self taught business gal is one of the most rewarding things this life has brought me.
With experience in large resort, intimate private property and even Airbnb game night style weddings; the motto has always been ‘your wedding, your way’. I always catch myself saying to my couples ‘there’s only 1 rule — legally get married’, and that's really just it. I pride myself in supporting all wedding ideas so that you truly feel comfortable throughout the whole process.
On wedding days, I truly care. Not just for you, the couple, for the overall guest experience. I take pride in being personable, proactive and approachable. I want to make sure your bridal party and family is feeling good and having fun too.
Maybe you just need some extra support for an event — I do that too. With experience in wedding showers, large music events, and family gatherings, I'm your go to girl for décor setup and event management.

Support doesn't start a few months before your date. Once you're booked I'm here for timeline tips, vendor recommendations, pep talks and any sort of advice along the way.

I'm a firm believer in doing your wedding exactly how you want it — traditional or not. Like I said in my bio, all you have to do is legally get married. I'm here to support you from start to finish.
